On August 25, 1996, authorities in Dickinson, Texas arrested 19-year old Margarito Blanco-Alviso after he had allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year old girl. He was released on bail but failed to appear for the court hearings related to his case and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Thoughts? By checking Google, I found there was a major local media push in 2016 to publicize the manhunt for Margarito, which nowadays doesn't usually happen for fugitives on the run for over a decade, so that was good to see. The fact that there was not an arrest may mean that Margarito fled to Latin America and could still be there to this day.
