On April 23, 2017, the St. Louis Police Department say that 17-year old Jamaica Jackson had allegedly drove her SUV through an intersection without stopping at a stop sign and hit seven-year old Demond Moorehead who was on her bicycle. Demond later died at a hospital from his injuries. The SUV failed to stop after Demond was hit and Jamaica had a suspended license at the time.
In late April of this year, Jamaica was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and a warrant has since been issued for her arrest.
After Demond's death, his family held a vigil in his memory. Some of Demond's relatives said at the vigil that a man who was supposedly the passenger was actually the driver and they did not believe Jamaica had been driving on April 23.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact St. Louis Crime Stoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS (8477) if you have any information on Jamaica Jackson's whereabouts.

Thoughts? Aside from St. Louis Crime Stoppers profiling Jamaica on their website, the Missouri court records page shows the last entry as a warrant being issued on April 25, 2018 and the case has not been disposed as of yet. This means that as of today, May 16, 2018 Jamaica Jackson is still at large.
The reason I also mentioned the last bit about some of Demond's relatives saying a different person may have been driving that day is that the fugitive manhunts we cover here are only to help apprehend fugitives with active warrants, not to determine guilt or innocence. That is for a court of law to determine. I will say that Jamaica being on the run is not helping the investigation because if she is truly innocent, then she needs to turn herself in to explain her part of the story to the investigators.
