From NBC Las Vegas: (news3lv.com):
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A year ago, video surveillance from Mountain View Hospital gave homicide detectives a lead into their investigation.
Two people are seen dropping off 25-year-old Ashley Wellito moments before she died.
"All I can say it's a day to day process and I don't think any mother knows how to react to your child being gone before you," said Kimberly Wellito.
But detectives say they still need to identify the two people who took her there.
Investigators tell us Wellito was last seen at a CVS near the Hard Rock Hotel. She was in a black Mercedes, but that car has never been found. Several hours later, she was taken to a hospital across town.
"A year flew by... and no justice," said Kimberly Wellito.
Ashley Wellito's legs were broken, and she suffered injuries to her head.
Police still want to know if her death was an accident or if it was much more.
Willeto, a Native American from New Mexico, loved her adventures. But Ashley's desire to leave her home eventually led her into prostitution in Las Vegas. A lifestyle that shocks her family.

Thoughts? The aforementioned surveillance images can be seen at the NBC Las Vegas link above. Ashley may have been a prostitute and her profession may have been technically illegal but she was still a human being that did not deserve to die. Obviously, identifying the two people on surveillance images may be the key to solving this case. Perhaps they are or aren't directly involved in Ashley's death, but based on them taking her to the hospital they obviously know something. If those two see themselves on the news and didn't directly cause Ashley's death and/or it was an accident, I'd strongly encourage them to come forward so they don't get into more trouble for withholding information down the road.
