Location of Offense: In woods on CR 700N, east of SR 37
Circumstances: On November 17, 1978, the Burger Chef restaurant in Speedway, Indiana was robbed by unknown suspects. Four employees were abducted from the restaurant and taken to a wooded field in Johnson county and murdered. Their bodies were discovered on November 19, 1978. The Indiana State Police have focused this investigation on a group of individuals that were committing restaurant robberies at the time.

Thoughts? The victims in this now nearly 40-year old murder mystery case: Jayne Friedt, 20; Daniel Davis, 16; Mark Flemmonds, 16; and Ruth Ellen Shelton, 18.
I keep finding cases I'm surprised weren't on our site already but I searched and it doesn't look we've discussed this yet. Not to mention, to the beat of my knowledge, the Burger Chef case has never been aired on a national crime show such as America's Most Wanted and/or Unsolved Mysteries and I am quite shocked by that:
