"In Pursuit with John Walsh" to debut on ID channel in 2019!

If In Pursuit turns out to be like AMW more or less, I’d be happy, however doing something thinking and if In Pursuit is similar to The Hunt regarding format, then we would likely see USMS Top 15 Fugitive, Robert King, having an episode done on him since they recently added an age progressed image along with more information.


On the FBI Top Ten(as we all know Jason Brown has been aired enough, so I’d hold off), the only veteran fugitive that has received an update since 2017 is Eduardo Ravelo and with a Hunt style format I don’t know how it will work, since this is a drug trafficking case as is Rafael Caro-Quintero, so he’d be hard too.


It all may come down to Alexis Flores, Santiago Mederos, and/or Alejandro Castillo if he’s not caught by then.

I feel the frustration, a year without seeing John Walsh going after fugitives and bringing home missing children. The positive side is that if this can amount to a long-term series on ID with JW and probably Callahan Walsh eventually, it will be worth the wait.

I want to know however why it's premiering in early 2019? Was ID's schedule for 2018 fully decided upon or are they using that time to film segments, including potential reenactments?

One of the things I hope In Pursuit does is focus more on fugitive cases out of cities without much online fugitive coverage. Sadly the following list contains a lot of the largest cities in the US.

A sign I might be way too bored but I was looking online for songs I think would be good for In Pursuit. (I'm assuming they will want to do a new intro for the new show even though the Johnny Cash cover was good).

I think this is a sign that John Walsh is wrapping up his career. I have heard murmurings that he was sick not long ago - not sure with what, though.

I was talking to Head Marshal earlier about a book on FBI fugitives and thought it would be interesting if “In Pursuit” were to release decks of cards or even a book on fugitives that are profiled over the years however the show would have to run for awhile before anything like that can happen.

Many will say “nobody reads books now”, but many of these books from the 80s or 90s include guys like Donald Webb who have since been located, and Discovery has also been known to publish books as well it could be an In Pursuitpedia lol.
