"On Thursday, November 2, 2017 at about 3:45 p.m. New Orleans Police responding to a call found the body of Peter Leon Oatis, Jr. near the intersection of Donald Douglas and a Lakeshore Drive. Peter Oatis had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene."

Thoughts? According to the New Orleans Advocate article, Peter Oatis Jr. was only 22 years old and was an aspiring educator and teacher. His family believes he may have been killed during a carjacking, although police have not publicly discussed any potential motives or suspects in the case.
