Fugitive Profile as of December 8th, 2017: (Based on Orange County online warrants search) DOB: 12/14/1969 Sex: Male Race: Mexican-Latin American Height: 5' 04" Weight: 135 Hair: Brown Eye: Brown Fernando Ramirez Garcia is wanted for the attempted murder of a police officer. I don't believe he was ever aired on AMW. On October 6, 1998, Garcia was driving a BMW in Santa Ana, California when an officer pulled him over for expired tags. During the traffic stop, Garcia opened fire on the officer while he was in his patrol car, a round hit the officer in the thigh. Garcia then disappeared, leaving a female companion inside who cooperated with police. Garcia is a known drug dealer who was released from prison in 1996 and was deported from the United States in 1997. The officer returned to work a month later. Thoughts? It's likely that Garcia is hiding out in Mexico because he's a Mexican national, although he could occasionally travel to Southern California again. Admin Note #1: According to articles: Garcia should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to immediately call Detective Corporal D. Fulcher at (714) 245-8539 or (714) 981-4286. www.ocregister.com/articles/garcia-335796-officer-wanted.htmlwww.ci.santa-ana.ca.us/pd/documents/WantedFlyer-Project1.pdfwww.ci.santa-ana.ca.us/pd/mostwanted.asparticles.latimes.com/1998/oct/22/local/me-35064Admin Note #2: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Usually if a fugitive is from Mexico, he'll likely go back there thinking it will be easier to hide.

Wanted to add that I did not see a UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Garcia in PACER. Orange County's warrant database isn't working for me right now at the moment but I assume Garcia is still at large with no new news articles.
