Date of Birth: 12/5/1939 (Current Age: 78 as of 04/07/2018) Warrant #: GS346816 Escape Date: 11/3/1976 -- According to Newspaper.com archives, on March 3, 1973, James Miller and two accomplices broke into a lodge and golf-equipment store and robbed the owners with a sawed-off shotgun. This crime occurred in Madison County, Tennessee. James was convicted but escaped from a Tennessee prison on November 3, 1976 according to the Tennessee Department of Corrections webpage. Before being arrested in 1973, Miller's last residence was in Covington, Kentucky. Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Tennessee Department of Corrections at 615-741-1000 if you have any information on James Steven Miller's whereabouts.Moderator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form
--Thoughts? With James Miller being now 78-years of age, it is still possible that he's alive, however 41 years as a fugitive would generally take it's toll on someone. We've seen some other cold-case escapees get caught living under the radar in small towns across the US in the past few years, so it's likely that James is living the same type of life. www.tn.gov/correction/about-us/most-wanted/escapees.html

Realize it's only been a few months since our original posting but just wanted to officially reflect that as of July 11th, 2018, Miller is still on the Tennessee DOC website as one of their most wanted escapees. (Same link as in HeadMarshal's OP)
