I realized it has now been one year since this site was first created to discuss AMW!
Although sadly it would turn out the show would get cancelled, I am proud of the cases seen on the show we've been able to not let forget as well as putting the spotlight on some new cases as well. And of course, we still like to know when fugitives get captured or when missing children get recovered, and there's been some great news shared this year as well!
I hope some kind of John Walsh or fugitive show returns one day (or the miracle of AMW itself!), but in the mean time thanks for joining everyone. Maybe we'll be even more active next year!

Completely forgot yesterday was the 2-year anniversary of the creation of this forum! And thankfully we did get a new fugitive show.

I'm just proud of myself that I've helped out the forum so much.

Happy Anniversary to all! I'm happy with my contributions to this forum as well, even if my work life tends to interfere I got the 2003 guide done this year, and I'm almost done with 2004 (just 1 and a half more episodes!) I look forward to another year of hunting fugitives with all of you

And I love reading them. And thanks to all our current forum members! I hope next year is a popular and even more lievly forum with more posters. I can't tell you how many people registered talking about how much they wanted to talk about a specific case and then never bothered to sign in after I approved them. But it's been an amazing year. We even got mentioned in articles for the first time!

Highlight for 2014: Got mentioned in a news article. Hopeful highlight for 2015: Get publicly credited for a capture.

The problem with us getting publicly credited for a capture is we provide police lines and crime stoppers submission websites. Unless I change my mind and decide to take in tips myself, which I'm still weary of since I don't work with law enforcement, or unless a personal calls in and specifically mentions us, even if we're actually the direct result of a capture, we might not even know it. But I like your line of thinking, but let's set our goals high and hope for even more than one capture from our site.

Just wanted to add, thanks to ProBoards for providing a place where we can post our cases. Granted I could have chose any server- but I really like the format and set-up compared to the other companies I've seen used on various message boards.

This forum is now 4-years old! We've lasted a full Presidential term! Thank you to our present and future forum members for keeping it going!

4 years feels like forever LOL. I'm glad to be celebrating/celebrated 4 years on the forum and "for being part of the coal that keeps this train going" (had to do a train reference LMAO)

LOL I thought you meant the band Train for a second and I'm like they're not that bad LOL. (Off-topic but I liked the song they did for Spider-Man 2 even though some of their other songs are cheesy haha). But yes thank you for joining and your contributions (and to everyone else new who joined in 2016). You are now one of our more most frequent posters so you definitely helped, our message board would be a lot less active without you. Now to get a capture in 2017, 4 years is long enough. Now I know how Nancy Grace feels LOL.

And this I'm really upset I didn't realize sooner but it's now been five years since this forum was created! I'm also just going to assume we've already been at least partially responsible for at least one capture over the years and were just never given credit, so getting credit for a capture is not a goal anymore. Hey, with our President (for the time being), it's a post-factual world now so I can say anything and it's true. Speaking of which, thanks to the 20 million people a day that view our site and to GQ magazine for naming Scumhunter the most handsome internet sleuth who's never posted his photo! Seriously, five years is quite the milestone and thanks to all you guys (and girls, no offense dudes but one thing I would like in 2017 is some more female cybersleuths and female perspectives on here , and thanks to ProBoards, and thanks to those who read our forum and/or have emailed our contact form with updates over the years. I know I sound like I'm reading an Academy Awards speech (aside from the apologizing for sexual harassment aspect all the winners will do next year) but I consider five years a milestone and big freaking deal! And yes, I had too much caffeine this morning!

Glad to be apart of the site on the 5th anniversary this month, first of all the credit should go to Scumhunter for starting this board, and some of the core members that post on here on a regular basis, and finally the millions that view the site regularly. For me posting on here is a blast, some cases are still open at the end of 2017, and some cases have managed to get closure. Pain in the a** Fugitive Donald Eugene Webb was finally found deceased this year and we hope 2018 will be a huge year with regards to captures. (Lol they should really make a comic book about the “AMWfans squad” lol, just like a squad of superheroes, with interesting talents or powers)

I usually like to say "all of us, you guys..." or all members here as to not leave anyone out by accident. Even someone who only posted once contributed. But you are certainly a valued part of this forum and obviously the FBI and predicting the top ten list is your most frequent dedications. Making a superhero squad based on us would be cool.
