(Above photo credit: pennlive.com via Lancaster County district attorney's office) From pennlive.com: The 2014 death of Brett Simmons remains unsolved and investigators are asking for help finding the pair of masked intruders who fatally shot the 23-year old Clay Township man. Though police have interviewed hundreds in connection to Simmons' death, authorities have not found the two suspects in three and a half years. Simmons was fatally shot just after 11 p.m. Sept. 25, 2014, on the 500 block of Clearview Road and his father, James, was wounded during the incident. The suspects entered the home through an unlocked door and shot Brett while he was in his bedroom. James went to check on the commotion and found the two men, whose faces were covered by clothing. James was shot in the chest during a struggle with the men and the intruders ran down the stairs. Blake Simmons told police he hit one of the suspects with a lava lamp before they left the home. Investigators described the suspects as light-skinned, young adult males between 5-feet-9-inches and 5-feet-11-inches tall and of average build. Though the case hasn't been solved, the investigation continues, police said. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Northern Lancaster County Regional police at 717-733-0965 or through the department's website at www.nlcrpd.org.www.pennlive.com/news/2018/03/investigators_seeking_leads_in.htmlThoughts?
