The York City Police Department continue their investigation of a homicide that occurred in the 300 block of East Market Street, York City, York County, PA.
On October 30, 2017, at approximately 11:39 p.m., the victim Jose Angel Aponte was walking home from work and was approached by an unknown male wearing a black hood and jacket. The top of the jacket is black, and the bottom of the jacket is red with a black flannel design. During an apparent robbery attempt, Jose Aponte was shot and died as a result of his injuries. The unknown suspect was last seen running from the scene.
