Thoughts? I realize the crime description is brief but the blog link above gives additional details:
-Foley was found shot to death
-The case seems to be baffling as Kevin Foley appeared to be a well-liked man who had no enemies.
-Kevin's brother, James, was serving 51 years in a federal prison for stealing 6 million dollars from the company where he worked. There is no known link between the cases.
-The blog also speculates that Foley could have been killed as a result of mistaken identity. The author came across a Kevin Foley who had testified against Gary Reiner when he was on trial for prostitution and money laundering charges stemming from a 2004 raid at the Danish Health Club in Kittery, Maine. Gary Reiner was heavily connected to organized crime in Boston. Could the wrong Kevin Foley been accidentally targeted?
-The blog also mentions police not releasing a ton of information. (As seemingly indicated from the Maine State Police website). I am not as connected to this case to others obviously, just a sleuther who found this an interesting case to talk about, I am just summarizing what the blog stated and not directly criticizing anyone.
In any case, over 10 years is too long to wait for justice for Kevin Foley's loved ones.
