Officials are looking for Justo Valdivia Garcia, a man accused of following two women from a restaurant and beating them up.
Three men in a black Toyota Yaris followed two women on March 8, 2009, in their Chevrolet Cobalt from a Mexican restaurant in Orange into Tustin, where the men intentionally rear-ended their car at Red Hill and Irvine Boulevard, police said.
The women got out of the car to exchange contact information in the parking lot at the Ralphs grocery store at 1114 Irvine Blvd. That’s when two of the men got out of their car carrying handguns, police said.
One of the men climbed into the back seat of the women’s car, pointed a gun at the driver’s head, and told her to follow their car to a dark parking lot nearby, police said. After they parked in the second lot, the men pistol-whipped and punched both women and told them to get out of the car.
“It was a fairly violent crime,” said Sgt. Duane Havourd of the Tustin Police Department. The women did not need to be hospitalized.
The women ran into the street and flagged down a passerby as the men fled in the Yaris.
Police officers followed the car into Santa Ana, where Orange resident Juan Tercero jumped from the car at First and Halladay streets in Santa Ana and was arrested by the Santa Ana Police Department. Tustin police officers later arrested Pablo Jimenez Cortez, also of Orange.
Officials identified the other man as Justo Validvia Garcia, 23. He is still being sought.
Cortez was convicted on Oct. 13, 2010, of kidnapping for carjacking, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and second-degree robbery. Tercero was convicted in Oct. 28, 2010, of kidnapping for carjacking, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, robbery, use of a firearm and inflicting great bodily harm. A sentencing has been scheduled for April 8, court records show.
Garcia is being charged with kidnapping during a carjacking, committing a felony with a firearm, kidnapping to commit rape or robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and second degree robbery, officials stated.

Thoughts? I found Valdivia still listed as wanted on the Orange County Warrants Search website. Oddly they have his name as Justo "Baldivia" Garcia but it has to be the same guy based on the charges. They only list his date of birth 2/28/1982- and nothing else about him: www.ocsd.org/gov/sheriff/howdoi/eservices/warrants.asp
