During the January 19, 2018, incident, the suspects drove a red 2003 to 2008 Toyota Corolla with faded paint and after-market rims.
Caution:
On Sunday, January 7, 2018, at approximately 5:00 a.m., an unknown male suspect attempted to gain access to the outside ATM at the Golden West Credit Union located at 5639 West Highlands Loop Road in West Jordan, Utah. He attached a propane tank and tubing to the ATM to feed propane into the ATM in order to blow it up. The unknown suspect then poured a liquid onto the ground from the ATM and drew it back a small distance, at which point he lit the liquid.
At approximately 11:07 p.m. the same day, the same unknown male suspect attempted to gain access to the outside ATM at the America First Credit Union located at 1799 South Pioneer Road in Salt Lake City, Utah. The unknown suspect poured flammable liquid on the ground leading up to the ATM and lit it. He had also attached a propane tank and tubing to the ATM to feed propane into the machine in order to blow up the ATM.
On January 19, 2018, two unidentified male suspects (both are believed to be linked to the explosions above) attempted to gain access to the outside ATM at the Chartway Federal Credit Union located at 2089 West 9000 South in West Jordan, Utah. They attempted to access the ATM by leaking propane into it and igniting it with gasoline.

Thoughts? On one hand, these guys seem like numbskulls and dumb crooks. The problem is they seem to be following the if at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again motto and by playing with propane and nearly blowing up these ATM's it unfortunately leaves the potential for collateral damage in not just property but human life as well the next time they attempt this.
