The fugitive: Arsenio Realegeno
When and where: Jan. 22, 1996. Location unavailable.
Investigator: Ruben Rosales of the Pima County Adult Probation Warrants Unit.
Summary: Realegeno, 42, was arrested after his girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter told her mother that he had touched her inappropriately.
The girl, who referred to Realegeno as "Daddy," told a detective on Jan. 22 that he had done something bad to her, according to court documents. When asked what he had done, she said he had touched her over her panties and that the incident occurred while they were playing.
The girl's mother also told police that her daughter would cry a lot and did not want to stay home with Realegeno, the document said. The girl also would wet her pants.
She couldn't tell police exactly when the incidents occurred, except that it likely began in late 1995.
When he was interviewed by police, Realegeno admitted to touching the girl on two separate occasions, court documents state. He said the girl's mother confronted him and threatened to kick him out if it happened again.
He was arrested that day and booked into jail.
The latest information: Realegeno was convicted of child molestation and was sentenced to 10 years' probation. Around June 15, 1998, he violated the conditions of his probation by moving without permission. He also failed to report to his probation officer and failed to appear in court, Rosales said.
In addition, he is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender, Rosales said.
Realegeno is from El Salvador, and he may have fled the country, Rosales said.
Authorities haven't received any tips or had any sightings of Realegeno.
Realegeno is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
"He's a predator, a pedophile, who preys on children for his own pleasure," Rosales said. "We don't know his whereabouts, and therefore cannot monitor his actions."

Thoughts? The above is an admittedly very old article but probably still accurate. I am assuming Realegeno is still wanted as of this posting date (2/2/2018) since he's still on 88crime.org. However, if anyone has any updates, please feel free to let us know.
