On April 11, 2003, authorities in Brownsville, Texas say that Jose Delgado allegedly shot Manuel Facio to death outside of an apartment complex. Jose and Manuel were acquaintances but authorities have not publicly disclosed an alleged motive as to the shooting.

Thoughts? Since Brownsville is a US/Mexico border city, it's most likely that Jose fled to Mexico after allegedly killing Manuel. Occasionally these types of fugitives travel back to the US either to visit or set up a new residence, while others stay in Mexico for the remainder of their lives. Hopefully Jose falls under the former category as that would make it easier to locate him after just about 15 years on the run.
