Jose and Manuel were acquaintances but authorities have not publicly disclosed an alleged motive as to the shooting. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Brownsville Police Department at 956-548-7000 if you have any information on Jose Rufino Delgado's whereabouts.

-- Thoughts? Since Brownsville is a US/Mexico border city, it's most likely that Jose fled to Mexico after allegedly killing Manuel. Occasionally these types of fugitives travel back to the US either to visit or set up a new residence, while others stay in Mexico for the remainder of their lives. Hopefully Jose falls under the former category as that would make it easier to locate him after just about 15 years on the run. www.brownsvillepd.com/most-wantedwww.brownsvilleherald.com/news/local/man-murdered-outside-apartment/article_5d71efed-0f45-5065-a5e7-8678c80924f7.html
