On Dec 17, 1996, 21-year old Jason Lupe Rivas and two other young men were walking in Stockton, California when they came across Alejandro Gonzalez and two men with him. Authorities say words were exchanged and Alejandro allegedly pulled out a small rifle and shot Jason to death. Alejandro then allegedly shot one of the men with Jason in the abdomen, the man survived by fleeing and jumping through a glass window to get away.
The shooting may have potentially been gang-related, as Alejandro had gang tattoos in 1996.

Thoughts? According to a 1996 article thankfully available through Google searches, Alejandro is a native of Southern California. So that's where he may be, however Mexico is always a possibility as well. He may be travelling back and forth between the locations since he's been wanted for over 20 years.
