The alleged motive was an argument regarding a woman. In 1997, a Delray Beach Police Officer went to Haiti and spotted Faride at an airport. At the time, Haiti had no extradition treaty with the United States so Faride was not arrested by Haitian authorities. He still wanted to this day, according to the Florida Statewide Warrant Search. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office at 561-688-3000 if you have any information on Faride Abraham's whereabouts.Moderator Note: If you have any additional information or news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form --Thoughts? Since 1997 extradition between the US and Haiti has gotten a little better, as we saw recently with the capture of Jean Janiver. The issue is that Faride has been wanted since 1991 and the most recent photo we have of him is from 1984. web.archive.org/web/20180121153556/https://www.pbso.org/faride-abraham-m-black-fwmw/articles.sun-sentinel.com/1997-04-21/news/9704200308_1_extradition-queen-mchenry-haiti

If he had went on the run say 2007, as opposed to 1991, the chances would be better, but we can still hold out hope since Haiti's been better at sending us back fugitives lately.

Abraham still has a warrant for homicide as of July 7th, 2018, according to Florida's public access wanted search website. P.S. Thankfully I was finally able to find a Palm Beach County fugitive in there (for some reason a lot of their fugitives don't show up in the system). pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/restricted/PAS/person/WantedPersons.jsf

Faride Abraham was just featured again on April 1st on the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office website. Unfortunately Faride is still at large, but at least we have continued publicity. www.pbso.org/category/most-wanted/page/2/
