Photo Credits: San Bernandino County Sheriff's Department Archived Page DOB: 08/18/52 Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office at 909-884-0156 if you have any information on Fermin Martinez Rodriguez's whereabouts.Moderator Note: If you have any additional information or news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form --Thoughts? Fermin Rodriguez is one of the last web.archive.org fugitive cases I have in my list of cases to profile. I did check the San Bernardino County Superior Court records and found that his case status still shows as "warrant" and there has been no movement in his case since 1995. I just needed to confirm that he was in fact still wanted as of this posting. (12/31/2017). Hopefully 2018 will be the year where more cold case fugitives will be uploaded to the internet again, whether it's on the FBI, Interpol or local law enforcement pages to make up for having to look at archived law enforcement pages. web.archive.org/web/20040405033857/http:/co.san-bernardino.ca.us:80/Sheriff/Office_Loc/Divisions/PAffairs/PressRelease/Wanted/Bulletin%20Files/187arson.htmportal.sb-court.org/Portal/Home/Dashboard/29

Just a note for readers to click on the photo for the full description so you don't have to squint , but in summary the synopsis says Rodriguez allegedly killed his wife (Maria Gloria Rodriguez) by blunt force drama and then set fire to their house to conceal the homicide. The house was engulfed in fire. Rodriguez had six children (ages 9-18) but managed to get them out of the home unharmed. According to that page as well he fled to San Luis Potosi, Mexico. It also says he may return to Fontana, CA or Tucson, AZ to get his children. A little confused by that as they're now adults and that may be outdated information but I assume they're still possible locations if they have connections there even over 23 years later.

As of July 6th, 2018 I still see the charges against Rodriguez as "Case Status: Warrant" in San Bernardino County's online criminal court records. With that being said, I have noticed a significant increase in his views on our forum in the past few months. Sometimes that just means a case is being shared on social media, but if anyone does have any updates of course they are more than welcome to let us know. portal.sb-court.org/Portal/Home/WorkspaceMode?p=0
