From wtsp.com:
CHIPLEY, Fla. - Two inmates escaped from the Washington County jail around 11 P.M. Sunday night (12/17/17).
Authorities identified the two as 27-year-old, Ronly Diaz Pardo, and 39-year-old David Allan Anderson.
Authorities at the jail discovered the two missing the next morning.
"They actually had chipped away at some concrete block right behind the sink in their cell, that gained them access to a rather large maintenance room, from the maintenance room they were able to get outside," said Sheriff Kevin Crews, Washington County.
Sheriff Crews says once the two men were outside, they pried open a padlocked, chain-linked fence gate enough to squeeze through.
Officials learning later on Monday, a vehicle was stolen from a house near the jail during the night.
"While we can't one hundred percent prove at this time that they stole that car, we feel pretty good that those two escaped inmates stole the car to get themselves out of our area," said Sheriff Crews.
Anderson was held on multiple drug charges and feeing and eluding law enforcement. Pardo was taken to the Washington County jail from the Northwest Florida Reception Center on a murder charge.
Officials believe Pardo has family in south Florida and Anderson has family in Georgia. They suspect that the men could be headed in those directions.
"We've got people right now in probably three or four counties and two or three states chasing down leads at this time," said Sheriff Crews.
Officials say Pardo and Anderson are considered dangerous. If you see them, do not approach them and call 911 immediately.

Thoughts? Adding this as a breaking news case for what should be obvious reasons- Pardo was specifically accused of stabbing a fellow inmate to death last June. It is believed the two inmates passed through Haywood County, North Carolina earlier today. : www.wyff4.com/article/escaped-inmates-murderer-from-florida-believed-to-have-passed-through-haywood-co-officials-say/14466239
