On October 31, 2017, the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department issued an arrest warrant against Michael Lloyd Smith for solicitation of a minor. They allege that Michael pretended to be 19-years of age when he contacted a 13-year old girl through social media. Michael sent nude pictures of himself to the girl who in turn sent nude pictures of herself to her and they exchanged multiple sexually-related messages. They had initially made plans to meet for sex until Michael cut off the communication in October.

Thoughts? Even though Michael cut off the plans to meet to have sex, he should have never even considered exchanging nude pictures of himself with an underage child online. Pictures like that have a tendency to get onto permanent websites where those images of herself could be viewed for eternity.
