According to Newslibrary archives, on the evening of November 19, 1999, 27-year old Jose Alvarado went to a bar to have a few drinks with some acquaintances. At around 1:00 AM, authorities say the drinking buddies, including Pablo Salsedo then allegedly beat and strangled Jose to death with a belt. A passing motorist saw three men dumping Jose's body, which was discovered shortly after. Especially tragic about this murder was that Jose was set to marry his girlfriend who was expecting their first child before he was murdered.

Thoughts? Pablo Salsedo was last known to be in Mexico, according to the Sheriff Department's website and he may still be there if he hasn't since returned to California. The only articles mentioning this case in Newslibrary were from November 23, 1999 when the warrant was issued for his arrest, so this case hasn't been publicized very much.
