In 2008, Daniela Torres is accused of driving while intoxicated on Florida's Interstate 95. As a result, she got into a crash in Boca Raton, Florida with another car. Killed in the other car as a result of the impact were 44-year old Deborah Peterson, and 42-year old James Andrew Carr. Daniela fled afterwards to Brazil where the South American nation has since refused to extradite her. In April of 2017, a local US representative sent a letter to Rex Tillerson asking him to pressure Brazil in extraditing Deborah.

Thoughts? Even though the April Palm Beach Post article mentions that Daniela is believed to be from Brazil, for some reason the PBSO says she's originally from Belgium. I'm assuming the PBSO has an error on their website and if they do they should update that.
Sadly as we've seen with other fugitive cases regarding fleeing to Brazil, this looks to be a long struggle to get Daniela Torres to face a court of law regarding her charges.
