In January of 2016, authorities in Travis County, Texas say that Rene Jimenes-Cruz allegedly showed up at his ex-wife's home and threatened to kill her. He was arrested and was required to wear an ankle-monitoring bracelet. In early March of 2016, Rene went back to his ex-wife and allegedly stabbed her several times, nearly killing her. The lacerations from the knife landed near her lungs and in her chest.
Rene fled and may be working in construction, particularly drywall or framing.

Thoughts? So much for the ankle-monitoring bracelet not protecting Rene's ex-wife in this case. I understand the intent but it was not the right call to keep Rene out of jail while awaiting his trial for allegedly threatening to kill his ex-wife.
