November 8, 2017 New Jersey Murder Suspect Believed to Be in Metro Atlanta ATLANTA—David J. LeValley, special agent in charge (SAC), FBI Atlanta Field Office, in conjunction with SAC Timothy Gallagher, FBI Newark Division, requests the public’s assistance in locating a murder suspect wanted by the Irvington, NJ Police Department / Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and is now believed to be in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. On May 12, 2017, at approximately 12:33 p.m., the Irvington, New Jersey Police Department was called to a residence with reports of shots having been fired. Arriving officers located the victim, Dino Bermudez, age 34, on the front porch of that residence conscious but having sustained gunshot wounds to the left thigh. Bermudez was transported to the hospital but subsequently died of his wounds. Dennis M. Cunningham, aka Muhamad, age 48, has been charged by the State of New Jersey with murder in connection with Mr. Bermudez’ death. Cunningham is described as being a black male, 6’2”, weighing 215 lbs. Cunningham has family in the Douglasville, Georgia area but also has ties to the Jessup, Georgia area as well. The FBI has also charged Mr. Cunningham with federal Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution (UFAP). Anyone with information regarding this individual’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at tel. (404) 577-8477. All calls can remain anonymous and there is a reward through Crime Stoppers.
Any thoughts? I found him the same way I found out about Robert Brumsfield and former fugitive Dwight Lewis, by searching through FBI press releases. Also Cunningham is a very recent fugitive, who is currently not on the FBI site. www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices/atlanta/news/press-releases/new-jersey-murder-suspect-believed-to-be-in-metro-atlanta Admin Note: If you have any (news-related) updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

I can't recall a week where there's been so many breaking news fugitives in general or FBI new fugitives and there's been weeks with a lot but this week at least feels even more than usual.
At least there's some semblance as to where Cunningham is. But anyone across the country should still BOLO for him even if he is likely in Atlanta.

These are only press release fugitives not yet on the FBI site itself. However it seems that authorities know he could be in Atlanta and just want to narrow down the search, but as you said, he could be anywhere.

Someone doesn't have to be on the website to be an FBI new fugitive. I was referring to we've had a bunch of breaking news recent fugitives non-FBI related wanted for terrible crimes this week in addition to the FBI and press release fugitives. But I remember spreading the word about a guy wanted who authorities said was hiding in Indianapolis and he got arrested in Tennessee a week later. So there's no guarantee they're always hiding in the believed city in the press release, although it's more likely than not that Cunningham is probably in Atlanta.

Haven't found any updates since last November. I am assuming that Cunningham is still at large as of this update (7/5/2018), since I haven't found anything online to suggest otherwise. However, of course, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they can always feel free to let us know.

Dennis Cunningham was added to the FBI Featured Fugitives page earlier today. Therefore as of today, May 15, 2019, he is still at large. Also some additional details from the new poster. - Dennis has a tattoo on his left arm and a scar on his left forearm. - He has ties to Newark, New Jersey and Easton, Pennsylvania as well. www.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/dennis-m-cunningham

Cunningham was yesterday's chosen fugitive for In Pursuit with John Walsh's "Fugitive Friday" feature on Facebook (see the show's June 21st, 2019 status updates).
As a result, I will be moving this thread to the Fugitives on TV section.

Kind of surprised that he is still on the run but metro Atlanta is huge if he's still there but he could be hiding anywhere on the east coast I strongly believe he is still in Georgia if he's not in Atlanta or surrounding areas he could be in Savannah Macon or Columbus or Augusta Albany or Rome
