From The Charley Project:
Adams was last seen in Jefferson, Georgia on May 20, 2013. That day, his 2009 Chevrolet Malibu was found abandoned in a pasture on Brockton Loop Riad near Jefferson with his cellular phone, wallet, identification and $25 in cash inside. Later in the day, Adams cashed a personal check for $400; he'd stolen it from his parents. Adams has never been heard from again. His shoes were found on the banks of a pond on May 24.
Authorities got several leads from Adams's cellular phone. Records showed he called one man five times on the day of his disappearance, but the man denied having spoken to him and refused to cooperate with the investigation. Another man admitted to speaking to Adams at 9:00 a.m., but he wouldn't say what their conversation was about.
Authorities believe Adams could have traveled to the Battle Creek, Michigan area; he had completed a six-week rehabilitation program at A Forever Recovery, an addiction center there, two weeks prior to going missing. His family stated he has no history of leaving home without warning and they think he may have begun using drugs again prior to his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.

Thoughts? Obviously, Joshua did not live the most pristine life up to his disappearance but it's still important to locate him so his family knows that he's safe and alive and also so he can get any help should he need it.
