On September 2, 2008, authorities in Monroe County, Florida say that Cesar Lopez allegedly stabbed his 41-year old girlfriend, Jessica Flores to death. Cesar and Jessica were having domestic problems at the time of the murder. Video on a toolbooth turnpike showed Cesar and a woman resembling Jessica travelling south from Miami on the day of the murder. Later that day, video showed only Cesar returning from Monroe County in the same vehicle. Potentially complicating this manhunt is that Cesar is a Nicaraguan national.

Thoughts? I learned about this case while going through the Monroe County online warrants search, and confirmed his still active warrant through the Florida Statewide Warrants search as well. If Cesar did flee back to Nicaragua then catching him there will be very difficult, unlike arresting Eric Toth there since Toth was born in the United States.
