The Harrisburg City Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, continues their search for Kurt Darnell Tasker.
KURT DARNELL TASKER SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS!
On Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 3:20 a.m., Harrisburg City Police responded to the area of Crescent Street and Hunter Street, located in Harrisburg City, Dauphin County, PA, for reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, law enforcement located a male victim with gunshot wounds lying in the 1200 block of Hunter Street. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. An arrest warrant has been issued for Kurt Darnell Tasker for the shooting death of the male victim.
Kurt Darnell Tasker (AKA: Curt Tasker and William Morrison) is described as a Black/Male with black hair, brown eyes, and a thin mustache.
DOB: 10/01/1989 and 10/11/1989, Age: 26
Height: 5’6” Weight: 150 lbs.
Tattoos: Neck (Script) Right Side
Kurt Darnell Tasker’s last known address is 351 Hale Avenue, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA. Kurt Tasker is also known to frequent Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA.

Thoughts? Although it seems there's not the most detail as to the murder Tasker allegedly committed, additional articles provide some details:
- The victim's name was Frank Whitlock
- Vernon King was also wanted in connection with this case but was quickly apprehended in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Tasker and King worked at a bookstore owned by the Mayor of Harrisburg. This is despite Tasker having a criminal history dating back to 2006. The Mayor of Harrisburg released a statement that he and those involved in hiring Tasker were aware of his past but were trying to help him turn his life around.
While Tasker has the privilege of being presumed innocent until guilty, despite fleeing, and while I'm not excusing his alleged actions, it is pretty sad if he is guilty and did indeed waste that opportunity that many convicted felons rarely get.
Tasker still has a warrant on the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers website as of this posting date (10/28/2017).
