The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help to locate a fugitive wanted for kidnapping, shooting and sexually assaulting a woman in July 2016.
On July 1, 2016, 42-year-old Anthony David Stone kidnapped, shot and sexually assaulted a woman in Southeast Portland. Stone was able to evade capture and investigators believe he may have fled to the East Coast, where he has a significant and violent criminal history.
Stone is described as an African American male, 5’9″ tall and 230 pounds.
Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.
Information about unsolved homicides can lead to a reward of up to $2,500 cash. All other unsolved felony crimes are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects. Links can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

Thoughts? According to the more expansive article I linked to Above, Stone's most recent conviction was in 2014 in Hartford, Connecticut. He spent 10 months in prison after being convicted of third degree assault.
A check on Case Status with Multnomah County lists an Anthony Stone with a warrant with the number 16 in the code as of this posting date. (10/21/2017). Even though it's a common enough name, I'm assuming it has to be the same guy, however, if anyone has any updates proving otherwise, please feel free to email our website contact form.
