Colleen Perris has been missing for the past 13 years. AMW aired the case in 2003 and 2004.
On Sept 30, 2000, 18-year old Colleen was at her Plantation, Florida home with her mother. At 2:59PM she got a call on her cell phone and told her mother she would be back at 5:30PM. Eventually, Colleen's parents reported her missing when she didn't show up, even for a Florida Marlins game. Her close friend, Aly Lopez checked her voicemail and claimed that Colleen's uncle, Mitch Ratisher called his niece about a 3PM meeting. Unfortunately, Aly deleted the messages in a panic. Six days after her disappearance, her Mazda was found a few miles away. Her cell phone was never used again, a carton of cigarettes were found in the car and more than a thousand dollars was left in her bank account. Rain had washed away any possible fingerprints or other possible clues.
In September 2003, the AMW investigative team looked into her disappearance. It was determined that Colleen had been dabbling with ecstasy and LSD. Her friends claimed that Mitch Ratisher was her supplier. Colleen's boyfriend claimed that Mitch had offered her a role in a porn film. Mitch denied any of the allegations and even leaving the messages on Colleen's voicemail the day she had disappeared. He did claim that he offered Colleen was lingerie modeling job. Colleen was declared legally dead in 2007.
