In November of 2004, Robert Gehagan was living in a shed behind a friend's home in Vidor, Texas. It was during this time that he allegedly sexually assaulted a nine-year old girl. The girl was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and format charges were filed. When the family returned home to confront Robert, he threw his belongings in his pickup truck and fled. During the investigation, it was determined that Robert had allegedly sexually assaulted a second victim, who was only eight at the time.
Two warrants were issued on February 24, 2005. It is believed that Robert grew up in Ponchatoula, Louisiana where he may still have family and friends. He is believed to be working as a handyman or doing cash only jobs to support his life on the run.

Thoughts? I feel that Robert should not have been able to remain on the run for 12 years had he been given some national publicity of some sort. If he's not in Texas or Louisiana, then he's probably somewhere else in a small town down in the U.S. south. Also this case was confirmed when I was browsing through the Orange County Texas warrant listings and found the 2013 article online regarding it as well.
