On April 11, 2010, Andrew Stewart was shot to death in Houston, Texas. Authorities say that Andrew traveled from Illinois to Houston to purchase drugs. An argument started during the drug deal, and Ronald Charles and an accomplice allegedly killed Ronald. Ronald went on the run and according to the Harris County Court Records is also wanted for failing to register as a sex offender.

Thoughts? I don't think Ronald Ray Charles should be a difficult fugitive to find, since he's probably still involved in drug activity. He could still be in Texas as that is where he's from and it's a very large state.

I can't find the murder case against Charles in Harris County's online criminal court records, however, as of July 1st, 2018, he is still listed as not in custody in regards to his warrant for failure to register as a sex offender:

Charles still listed as not in custody in Harris County's online criminal court records search as well as still having his address as "absconded" on sex offender registry as of October 24th, 2019. (same links as in previous reply).

As of today, January 13, 2021, I actually found the Capital Murder case in the Harris County Court Records. The case is currently in "warrant/citation status" and lists Ronald as "not in custody".

As of today, July 13, 2022, Ronald is still listed as having a warrant/not being in custody, according to Harris County's court records database. I checked PACER and did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) warrant for him.
