According to Newslibrary archives, Sam Helfferich allegedly committed sodomy and indecent liberties on a child between August and December of 2000. Sam fled Finney County, Kansas in the summer of 2001 and was added to the state's personal most wanted list in June of 2001.

Thoughts? Once again, thanks to Newslibrary for keeping a 2001 article on wanted fugitives out of Kansas which had some brief information on Sam's case. I'm a bit surprised that Sam's been on the run for this long. He could be in another small town in the Great Plains or the Midwest, but that's only a guess since there's no possible locations provided online.
