From stophoustongangs.org:
Gonzalez is charged with a murder that occurred during the commission of a home invasion which occurred in the 300 block of Bob on January 2, 2007. According to the report, Gonzalez participated in the planning and execution of the home invasion with at least five others. When the owner of the home was alerted that his home was being burglarized, he returned home and was fatally shot. Gonzalez is alleged to have shot the owner upon his arrival at the front door.

Thoughts? The "Stop Houston Gangs" website doesn't mention it but according to an old Houston Chronicle article, Gonzalez is also wanted for the 2008 murder of 16 year-old Kevin Alfred. According to what's alleged, for he drove up to three teens walking up from a bike trail, announced "I have something for you", pulled out a gun, and shot at the teens who tried to run away. Alfred sadly was struck and later passed away. It is not clear from the article description why Kevin and his friends were targeted.
Amazingly, Gonzalez was out on $75,000 bond when he was charged. He was later linked to the January 2nd, 2007 case (the victim was homeowner Richard Ambriz) but did not show up for his July 25th, 2008 court date on both charges.
Even more unbelievable that Gonzalez had received such a low bond is that he was already a convicted felon. He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 1995 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Gonzalez Jr. was possibly born in California according to the Harris County Clerk's Office online case search I did.
But wherever he is now, he needs to be caught to make up for the failure of the justice system to bring him to trial on their own.
