Traits and Habits: Saeed's family hails from the Middle East, specifically the country of Yemen. Cops are unsure if he would have left the United States.
Location information: Police say Saeed's family is originally from Yemen, but it's unclear if he would have left the United States to go back.
Last Seen: Placquemine , LA. Cops say Saeed took off for the sleepy town of Placquemine, La. Police say they missed Saeed by just one day after tracking him to the Mississippi River border town.
Other Possible Locations: Yemen, Texas, Ohio, Dearborn , MI, Louisiana,Michigan, Mississippi, New York Detroit , MI.Police tell AMW that Saeed has could be anywhere, but has family in Mississippi. They also think Saeed could try to blend in around areas with a heavy Arab-American population like Dearborn or Detroit, Mich. Cops say Saeed also has a criminal history that includes a stint in a New York correctional facility.
Last Known Locations: Alief , TX. Police say that Saeed was living in the Houston area when he allegedly killed Martha Fields in what they believe was a botched robbery.

Marwan Saeed is wanted by Texas authorities for a brutal murder. He was aired on AMW once in 2010 (it was a full profile).
Authorities say that the family of Marwan Saeed had a bad business deal with the husband of retired school teacher Martha Fields. On Dec 11, 2007, Saeed had recruited his girlfriend Angela Lara and Kevin Cypher to take his revenge on the Fields's. Saeed had claimed that the house Martha and her husband Jim lived in, down in Fulshear, Texas had $500,000 dollars. Saeed and Cypher entered the house on a ruse while Lara drove the getaway car. Cypher took pity on Martha and tried to get her diabetes medication. At some point, Cypher mentioned Saeed's name in the presence of Martha which led Saeed to stab Martha 19 times. Martha stayed alive for a few days before succumbing to her injuries.
An anonymous tip led authorities to Kevin Cypher who confessed to everything. Angela Lara would later be arrested as well. Cypher got 30 years in prison while Lara got 50 years. Authorities narrowly missed Saeed in Louisiana. He also has family in Mississippi and the Detroit area but could have fled to Yemen.
Thoughts? I can't see Saeed blending in well in Mississippi but the Detroit area is a possibility. There have been rumors that he fled to Yemen according to the last article I posted below.

UPDATE from site admin: It has now been five years since HeadMarshal's original posting on the manhunt for Saeed and I can find no new articles since. As far as I can tell, Saeed is unfortunately still at large as of this update (7/22/2018) since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
