Authorities in Palm Beach County, Florida are trying to identify a man they say raped at least five women over a two-year period. AMW aired this case twice in 2010. To make this as organized as possible, I'll just list each confirmed attack by date. Apr 9, 2009: A young woman in Jupiter, Florida was talking on her cell phone when she was attacked, the rapist biting her nose, beating and raping her. Jul 24, 2009: A woman in nearby Palm Springs was raped after the attacker broke into her home and also stole her cell phone. Aug 7, 2009: A 53-year old woman was sitting on her porch in West Palm Beach. She was mostly unable to walk due to a leg injury. The serial rapist bit, beat and raped the woman before stabbing and disfiguring her with a nearby paint scraper. The woman died two weeks later from long-term health complications, although her daughter believed the trauma from the rape and stabbing played a role in her death. Jan 16, 2010: A 58-year old woman in Lake Worth was dragged behind some nearby bushes, bitten and raped. Sep 23, 2011: A 22-year old woman was raped but she managed to bit one of the man's index fingers. Angered, he bit her face twice. All that's known about this very dangerous serial rapist is that he's in his mid-20's, hispanic, 5'2 to 5'7, smokes cigarettes and either has long or short hair. There's really not much to go on except to say obviously he must have lived somewhat close by. As the link provided, targeting business and churches is a good idea. Obviously, he needs to buy cigarettes from somewhere. So focusing on convenience stores and I also think gas stations is a good idea.

If it's been a few years since the last attack, then there's a chance he may have moved to another city, maybe even out of state. Unfortunately, not only may this make it harder to catch him, but he may be continuing to attack without us knowing.

Both of you make excellent points as usual. Anyone else annoyed that AMW didn't re-air this case on Lifetime after the fifth attack in September 2011?

In addition to the DNA evidence, the sketch matches the suspect pretty well imo.

This is fantastic news! It's especially scary that he didn't stop trying to commit sex crimes, even after he travelled to Guatemala. A possible maximum 10 life sentences seems fitting.
