From kitv.com:
The family of missing teen Noah Montemayor is now speaking out in hopes of uncovering the truth. The 16-year-old disappeared exactly one week ago.
Click here to watch Lara Yamada's report.
"I've always thought that if he was gone, it would be over for me," said father Andrew Montemayor crying.
It's the kind of raw emotion pouring out of Michelle and Andrew Montemayor.
Last Tuesday, in the dark of night, their son packed some things, slipped out his bedroom window and hasn't been seen since.
"I walked into his room and I saw him and, like every night, I gave him a kiss and I said 'I love you.' I feel I need to do it, because he's my only child," said Andrew.
Since then, flyers have gone out and up islandwide. Search parties have signed on. Park lists have been checked off.
"Everybody has been so helpful," said Michelle.
Only hours before he disappeared, KITV4 News interviewed Noah.
"It's a good opportunity to share our knowledge with other people, especially the younger kids," he said.
He and his JROTC class were helping 3rd graders learn about the American flag, and in December, will be volunteering to help at the Honolulu Marathon.
"I always saw a lot of friends doing it and they got me inspired and I want to do it myself," said Noah.
Noah's family say he is an avid runner and outdoorsman -- with top grades and added honors. But, more recently, lamenting about his privileged life, curious about experiencing homelessness and, in a discrete file on his computer, his mother found words expressing loneliness and despair.
"There's evidence to show he's maybe still alive and there's evidence to say that, maybe, he's not," said Andrew.
Bits and pieces are pointing in different directions.
Investigators found Noah's bag on the Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail.
Tips have come in from Waimanalo to Tantalus, that maybe, someone saw him there.
Bright, thoughtful, and full of future. It's what they want people to see. It's what they hope will help bring him home.
"Don't feel scared to come home. We just want you. I just want you in my arms," said Andrew.
A few days ago, detectives pinged Noah's cell phone and found it along with his bag on the Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail.
A three-day Coast Guard search has turned up nothing.
Several possible sightings have fallen flat.
There's a public Facebook page called "Help Us Find Noah Montemayor."

Thoughts? Unfortunately I can not find that aforementioned Facebook page. That article is from two years ago after Noah initially went missing and sadly he still seems to be missing as of this posting date (9/14/2017). Noah is 18 and a technical adult if he's still out there but I'm sure his family would still like to know he's safe at the very least.
