On July 25, 2010 the body of an unidentified male was located approximately 2 miles south of North Komelik Village in Pima County Arizona (Tohono O’Odham Nation Reservation). It is believed the decedent had been deceased a few days prior to recovery. The decedent had black hair approximately 4 cm in length. The decedent was found wearing a pair of blue jeans (shown above), a pair of black socks with red and white stripes (shown above), a brown woven leather belt with a metal buckle, a pair of brown shoes (size 9, shown above) and a brown cloth bracelet. The decedent was in possession of a Mexican document containing the name “Manuel Pu Meregildo”. The facial reconstruction featured above is an artist’s rendering of what the decedent may have looked like. The clothing photos have been enhanced to aid in the visual identification and may not reflect the original case files.
