P.S. This sets a very DANGEROUS precedent for child molesters in the U.S. who become fugitives. Forget Mexico, just go to the UK and you'll be home-free.

I am really dissapointed in the UK who is supposed to be a very important ally in the global fight against child sex crimes. Would parents in the country want their nation to be known as a place that protects fugitive pedophiles.

Well, so much for the last gasp. The British high court has refused for the U.S. to re-open the appeal and/or take the case to the Supreme Court. As the admin of a crime forum- I shouldn't be advertising this- but good news fugitive pedophiles from the U.S.! You no longer have to flee to Mexico, just flee to Britain, claim your human rights won't be violated if they send you back and they won't extradite you! Perhaps we should just send all our pedophiles and alleged over to Britain anyway since they apparently don't have a problem with them. Would save us a lot of money and take a problem off our hands! Like it or not, what the British court just did was establish themselves as a safe haven for fugitive pedophiles. This is dangerous- but what they might not realize- is it's dangerous for them as well. Wonder how fellow Brits feel about having this alleged child molester as a neighbor now. Edit: It's really hard to find a silver lining in this but at least it's out in the open who Giese is in the UK now. People can decide to work and/or hire him now based on that. www.theguardian.com/law/2016/feb/26/us-fails-extradite-alleged-american-paedophile-roger-giese-britain

We know predators like this can't be cured. I hope these judges can look at themselves in the mirror the next time this monster strikes, knowing they were more worried about a pedophile's rights then those of innocent children.

Perhaps he realized(unlike the other judges) that setting case law that child predators could flee to the U.K. wasn't the smartest idea.

Sounds like this was one of the direct captures never logged in, as AMW was done with by then. John Walsh's 1234 number caught makes more sense in that regards.

I was told court records shows charges against Giese were dismissed however a search of Orange County's inmate listings shows him as still in custody. ws.ocsheriff.gov/Whoisinjail/Search.aspxAdditionally as mentioned earlier, he was indicted and accused of molesting a second boy last year so I feel perhaps the charges were dismissed to make a new case(s).
