Police say on January 20, 1998, Jesus Tejeda was babysitting Joel with his brother Juan Tejeda, Joel 's stepfather, when the two beat Joel to death. Joel was reported missing three days later by his mother Gina Quinones. On January 24, 1998 Joel's body was found buried in a field outside Dallas Texas. Later witnesses place Jesus and Juan Tejeda at the scene of the crime. Juan Tejeda was arrested and is awaiting trial but Jesus Tejeda is still on the run.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Dallas Police Department's Homicide Unit at 214-671-3661 if you have any information on Jesus Antonio Tejeda's whereabouts.

-- Thoughts? One of the fugitives I posted about today I had confirmed his wanted status through the Dallas County court records. I then remembered walshfan's episode guide and Jesus Antonio Tejeda was also wanted out of Dallas. So I checked and confirmed he still has an active warrant. Jesus was only profiled once on March 20, 1999. As difficult as it may be to find Tejada, it's still important to find him. If this is a case of him being in Mexico and the country not extraditing, make a publicity blitz and pressure them to extradite him. |

Just wanted to add that Newslibrary archives confirmed that Jesus was believed to have fled to Mexico, and that in 1998, he only spoke Spanish.
