Rinaldo Salvitti is considered one of the Danbury Connecticut Police Department's Most Wanted fugitives.
According to reports, Salvitti was accused of sexually assaulting his 5-year-old neighbor more than 10 years ago. Officials have said they believe Salvitti, who was free on a $250,000 bond, fled to Brazil shortly before he was to accept a plea deal with prosecutors that would have landed him in prison for two years. His bond has since been raised to $5 million.

Anyway, thoughts? Obviously it's a matter of whether Brazil will extradite if Salvitti fled there and is eventually located there, but all we can do is hope for the best possible outcome.
