Mario Gonzalez, whose full name is Mario Gonzalez San Roman is wanted for in what my opinion might be one of the most brutal murders I've ever read about.

46-year old Mario Gonzalez is charged with the murder of his 42-year old wife Lorena Gonzalez, and her 38 year-old male friend, Homero De Los Santos.

The pair were last seen on June 17th of this year, and after a tip to the Texas rangers, their bodies were discovered in a bathtub on June 20th. According to one of the articles posted below, authorities believe Gonzalez was stabbed five or six times, and De Los Santos had three to four stab wounds to the back. They also believe De Los Santos may have been hit with a blunt instrument as well.

The couple was involved in divorce and child custody proceedings, and earlier in the year, Lorena had filed mutliple reports of Mario violating a protective order.

In November 2012, Gonzalez plead guilty to making a terroristic threat and was sentenced to 120 days in jail, according to court documents.

Gonzalez is believed to have possibly fled to Mexico.

I think it goes without saying this man should be considered extremely dangerous, and if you see him, don't approach him but call the authorities right away.

Found out that Cameron County Crime Stoppers did a story on April 25 on their Facebook page. I've added the profile description from the posting to the original post. Good that local authorities are still trying to find this alleged monster.

Wanted to add that an Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant was issued by the FBI on July 9, 2013 for Mario Gonzalez. As of today, August 31, 2021, there has been no movement in the UFAP case since then and the case is still active in PACER.

The PACER document mentioned that there was video surveillance showing Mario crossing into Mexico. There was also information provided to authorities that Mario was hiding out in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico at the time the UFAP warrant was issued. Ciudad Victoria is in the Mexican border state of Tamaulipas.

This is a fugitive I feel the FBI should publicize further. Gonzalez has only been wanted for eight years and this is a double homicide case. I wonder if he's ever been suggested for the Ten Most Wanted list.

Mario’s fugitive status is being publicized in the media today, confirming he is still at large as of June 28, 2024. According to the Cameron County Sheriff’s Facebook page, he is also one of the county’s 10 Most Wanted fugitives.

I concur with the statement that this one of the nastiest double homicide and that's is against some stiff cases I could see him crossing the border frequently kind of like benito Barrera who was on the loose before crossing the border was what brought him down if the details are even worse than other cases like Gustavo soria or moises Alvarez and those were very disturbing cases he is even more sadistic and then those two monsters maybe he joined the narcotics trade do to just his wild unpredictable temper and this is just a theory just wanted to say that and could be hiding literally across the border
