On May 20, 2017, Felipe Gutierrez was on Facebook Marketplace, and had set up a meeting to purchase an Iphone. He went to a parking lot and was allegedly approached by four teenagers, including 15-year old Devin Brantley. The teenagers allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded money from Felipe. A witness stated Felipe tried to reach for his gun and he was subsequently shot to death. Three of the teenagers were arrested, except for Devin Brantley who went on the run. Devin may have fled to Detroit, Michigan where he has ties.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact Michiana Crime Stoppers at 800-342-STOP if you have any information on Devin Brantley's whereabouts.

Thoughts? Devin Brantley is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, which needs to be especially stated whenever we have a teenager on the run. If he is found guilty, then I hope he goes to prison for a long time as 15 is an age where you know robbing and shooting someone is wrong and can result in the shooting victim being killed. Someone in his family or friends circle needs to do the right thing and convince him to turn himself in as being a fugitive is not helping this situation at all. If not then hopefully a member of the public can call in the right tip.
