On November 5, 2003, authorities in Houston, Texas say that Cruz Romero went to the apartment of Brigido Barreto (who was 24 at the time) and his girlfriend. The girlfriend reportedly asked Cruz about money that went missing after his previous visit. Brigido then allegedly walked in and asked the same question while wielding a shotgun. Authorities say that Brigido then allegedly fired three shots, killing Cruz. Brigido's girlfriend was then dropped off with their 1-year old child and Brigido fled.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS if you have any information on Brigido Rocha Barreto's whereabouts.

Thoughts? Brigido's not in the Harris County Court Records so it looks like he was never arrested beforehand. Therefore, any information on his vital statistics (height, weight, etc) would be appreciated. He is on the current Crime Stoppers on Houston website through my research of fugitives out of the city, but that website is now really annoying and time-consuming to search through, so I provided the link to the 2012 archived website which saves his archived photo as well.
And also thanks to Newslibrary for keeping the 2003 news article on the case, which gave me the needed information to make this thread.
