On April 26, 1990, an anonymous tipster led authorities in Weslaco, Texas to a car in a hospital parking lot. Inside they found the body of 31-year old Rosalinda Flores, killed from a gunshot in her abdomen. Several years later in 2004, cold case investigators identified Roberto Perez Trevino as a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Roberto is originally from Rio Bravo, Mexico, and may have fled to Mexico after allegedly killing Rosalinda.

Thoughts? A 2004 article provided by Newslibrary gives a little more information such as Roberto was Rosalinda's boyfriend back in 1990. Additionally, there was reportedly forensic and DNA evidence that allowed for the arrest warrant to be issued. The issue is that Weslaco Crime Stoppers even admits that Roberto may have died since 1990, and if he died in Mexico then locating his remains will be next to impossible. Hopefully at the age of 72, he's still alive so he can be caught and face a court of law in connection with Rosalinda's murder.
