From wset.com:
ARLINGTON, Va. (ABC7) — The U.S. Marshals are searching for a woman who they say stabbed and killed her mother in Virginia in 2014.
Alana Renee Cole, who was considered a "person of interest" after her mother, Lana Sears, was murdered in her home in Beachwood Manor years three years ago, was eventually charged with the homicide.
Last seen at the scene of the crime in 2014, the U.S. Marshals are asking for the public's help locating Cole.
Cole, who is considered to be armed and dangerous, is described by the Marshals as a 5'7" white woman who weighs about 200 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
"She has an interest in fishing, which may place her in locations near water," according to a press release issued by the Marshals Friday.
If you have any information on Cole or where she might be, the Marshals ask that you call 1-800-336-0102 or email usms.wanted@usdoj.gov.

Thoughts? According to other reports, Cole suffered from mental illness, and after a bad car accident began talking to herself and hearing voices. While in no way excusing the crime Cole is accused of committing, this is a fugitive that if still out there needs to be located not just for others safety but for her own safety and well-being as well. I am very sensitive to this issue because mental illness runs in my family, and it seems legitimate in this case. But this tragedy still needs to be sorted out and have some answers for everyone.
UPDATE: As of January 16th, 2019, anyone with information on this fugitive's whereabouts can also call or text "In Pursuit" on the Investigation Discovery channel at 833-378-7783 and/or submit a tip at the show's website: www.InPursuitTips.com
