THE DODGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS LOOKING FOR THE PUBLIC’S HELP IN LOCATING AND APPREHENDING DALE HARRY BATT (D0B 12/19/1962)
BATT was convicted in March of 2000 for 3rd Degree Felony Assault causing Substantial Bodily Harm to his wife. BATT was sentenced to 5 years in prison and granted a stay of imposition as long as he successfully completed probation and treatment. He hasn’t been heard from since. A Body Only Felony Warrant was issued in August of 2000.
Batt wears glasses or sometimes contacts, is usually clean shaven but may have a mustache or beard, he is an avid scuba diver who has scuba dived in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. His weight may fluctuate from 150 to over 200 pounds. He was a smoker (no specific brand) and would drink beer, whiskey, or vodka. He hunts and fishes and has owned numerous firearms in the past. Batt’s work experience has been mostly Administrative/Management positions. Batt has been known to possess false IDs in the past and is likely not using his real identity. Batt grew up in the Leroy Minnesota area and has family ties in Rochester, the Twin Cities, Cass Lake, and Dickinson North Dakota area.
