Keith Funk is a 61-year old convicted sex offender but he's failed to register since 2007.
Officers with the Lone Star Fugitive Task force say he could still be in Central Texas.
"Keith Funk has an alias, also goes by the street name of Sunny," says Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla.
In 19-92, a court convicted funk of indecency with a 2-year old child.
He spent 10-years on probation and is required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
But funk failed to register in 2007 & 2008 and was arrested in October 2008.
He posted bond and then failed to appear in court in December 2008.
Filla says "he hasn't been seen since that last court hearing in October 2008."
Funk also has two drug possession charges from the 80's while living in california.
Filla says "his last known address was there on Blaise in Lockhart, Texas, where he was known to be living out of a bus."
Funk is about 5'10, 155-pounds and has a tattoo on his left arm; he's a mechanic by trade.
"We received some information that he was working in the greater Austin area and was known to be driving a wrecker truck for some type of wrecker service," says Filla.

Thoughts? The Texas DPS sex offender records still shows Funk as having his last photo reported in 2008, which would seem to indicate to me that he's still at large. The Marshals and DPS websites give a bit more information so if anyone has the time please review those links as well. Among the additional information Funk's full name is Ketih Roosevelt Funk and that he has used the aliases Sonny Funk and Sunny Funk.
