From wbtv.com:
SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - Salisbury Police are placing a billboard on one of the city's busiest streets to try and encourage people to come forward with information that could lead to the arrest of the person responsible for killing 7-year-old A'yanna Allen.
The billboard will soon go up on Jake Alexander Boulevard near South Main Street. It features a picture of the young girl and mentions the $20,000 reward.
"If you know something you need to come forward," said Salisbury Police Chief Jerry Stokes. "If you've seen something you need to say something."
Allen was sleeping with her grandmother at a home on Harrel Street when she was shot on Dec. 4. Her grandmother, Shirley Robinson, was shot in the leg and was released from the hospital later that day. She says someone shot through the bedroom window.
"That was my child that they took from me and I've got to go visit her at a grave," said Shequita Woodberry, A'yanna's mother. "I have no business burying my child, she should be burying me."
Three hours before A’yanna’s shooting, Salisbury Police responded to another crime scene outside a popular club on Avalon Drive about a mile-and-a-half away. 22-year-old Sharod Mathis was shot and killed in the parking lot.
Police have said that they do believe the two cases are related.
"I'm going to continue to fight to get justice for my daughter, " said Woodberry. "I just wish they would be honest and come forward and let us know. I'm not scared. It don't matter what I got to do or what it takes to get justice for my daughter."
"If somebody knows something and they aren't immediately contacting us with that information, to know what this family has experienced, I hope that they don't sleep at night just like A'yanna's grandmother doesn't sleep at night because of this," Chief Stokes added.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.

Thoughts? It should be noted according to another article, there has been one arrest in relation to A'yanna's murder and it happened back in December of 2016 when Savannah Marie Queen was arrested for felony obstruction of justice. Queen allegedly lies to officers after claiming she did not see a firearm at the scene of the possibly related shooting. A warrant says she not only saw the gun, but removed it from the scene.
However, as far as I know, sadly, A'yanna's named killer or killers have not been arrested as of this posting date (6/10/2017)
Please if anyone knows anything do the right thing and call police or crime stoppers. Just imagine if this were your own child.
