Sorry but no chance whatsoever. Financial fugitives never make the top ten list. Not downplaying his crimes but while he needs to be caught the top ten list is for violent fugitives.
Conn is a scumbag but there's nothing to indicate anyone who meets him is any direct danger for their safety (their wallet, yes, but not their safety). Still all fugitives should be considered armed and dangerous and anyone who spots him should still discreetly turn him and not take any actions themselves.
Also, I just realized the irony of all the Saul Goodman comparisons and he was last seen in New Mexico (where Saul Goodman was located in Breaking Bad).

Since you mentioned New Mexico, and in an image that was posted on here of him buying a bike I wouldn’t be surprised if living on a camp ground like former financial fugitive Sam Israel.

Federal indictment unsealed against Conn revealing his escape plot with the help of a man named Curtis Lee Wyatt, who worked at his law office. As a result of new charges, basically as a result of Conn's escaping, he could be facing life in prison in addition to the crimes he's already been convicted of. www.kentucky.com/news/state/article179190616.html

Well at least it's a development. Doesn't sound like a capture from the wording so I'm curious as well.

Well, this would be speculation on my part but the Marshals used the same creepy wording when they found Kevin Stoeser's body.
Could just be something like a reward increase or confirmed sighting or something but we'll wait and see.
Top ten list is currently occupied unless they have him replace Brad Bishop. (I'd have egg on my face as I've stated in the past no way he makes the list, but whatever, I'm allowed to be wrong every once in 20,000 times (over exaggerating my prediction rate but it's that kind of year where we can do that).

And now the link has mysteriously disappeared from the Lex18 website so don't know if they even had or will have the press conference. Me and HeadMarshal can confirm we read a link on that site saying there would be a press conference with a major development lol.

P.S. Guess he was wrong that Honduras wouldn't extradite him (his letter to the newspaper claimed he was "in a country where he can't be extradited") as he forgot he's not a citizen of theirs.

Well I'm glad to have been proven wrong on my guess for the announcement reason! Glad to see Eric Conn now realizes that fleeing to Central America resulted in only a few months of freedom and he'll now have to face a court of law.

Excellent capture. Glad that being in Honduras did not stop him from being apprehended, and that the extradition process will begin soon.

While this case had an interesting narrative and some parts of the story may have been bizarre, I just wanted to post a snipper of an article from Yahoo news: "More than 800 people in impoverished areas of Kentucky and West Virginia lost their benefits because of Conn's fraudulent claims, authorities said. Two committed suicide after Conn disappeared." That my friends is why financial fugitives are underrated fugitives. They don't just steal from the rich (not excusing that either of course). They steal from everyone, and don't care the consequences. As I said before, taking someone's life savings can often have the same effect as stabbing them. Eric Conn was/is admittedly an interesting and eccentric personality. He was/is also a scumbag that should not be celebrated. I'm glad the FBI showed him he wasn't as smart as he thought he was, and that he's going to jail for at least 12 years, possibly more thanks to his escape. www.yahoo.com/news/fugitive-eric-conn-guilty-550m-170255144.html
